EMDR THERAPY
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is used in session to alleviate current and past trauma, stress, anxiety, and negative memories of life experiences, that leave you stuck and hopeless for change. With EMDR therapy, a client can find resolution in past and current negative issues that hold them back in life, work, socially, and emotionally. Triggers are desensitized, new positive association links are formed, and coping skills are developed for future positive functioning in the client's daily life. It is an 8 stage process over several sessions that includes- history taking, preparation, assessment, desensitization, installation, body scan, closure, and review process.
